OUR PROCESS.
Our process is simple, we listen to our Clients, respond to their needs, then apply our design expertise to turn their vision into reality. We understand and appreciate the complexity and unique challenges which exist on Projects and to ensure a successful project delivery, we follow a specific design process. Our design process has been developed through our collective experiences of working on some of the most significant projects in the region and is tailored to account for every design stage and it’s associated challenges.

ENGAGEMENTEngage with Client and other key stakeholders to define the design brief for the landscape and understanding of the Project.01

IMMERSIONIf possible, we visit the site and go through an analytical process which allows us, as designers, to live and breathe the Project before we put pen to paper.02

“BIG IDEA”We then hit the drawing board and create the “big idea” and consider how we can apply our Studio’s values to make the Project special.03

REFINEMENTThe “Big Idea” is then explored further client and refined between SCLA and the Project team and client. The design is refined and optimized during Project Stage 04.04

DELIVERYWe then apply various design technologies to develop the design which includes coordination with relevant parties to turn our design Project into a reality.05
OUR “BIG IDEAS”.
We passionately believe that the success of any Project is defined at the Concept Design Stage and it’s the creation of the “Big Idea” which leads to a truly unique and Project specific design solution. The most significant stage of SCLA’s design process is when we arrive at this moment and define the DNA of what will form the story and identity of the Project. The next stage is to visually transform our idea and vision into a series of graphics which allow the Client to understand our vision and see how where the idea has come from and how it will be implemented in the design. These graphical representations are a way for us to have a bit of fun and in some cases, provide something completely unique to the Project which was the case with the Qiddiya Performing Arts Center.
