Jayasom Wellness Resort.

Creation Description.

The Jayasom Wellness Resort was part of the ambitious Triple Bay Masterplan being developed by Red Sea Global. The project included one hundred and seventy seven keys set within an expansive and naturalistic landscape on the shores of the pristine Red Sea. The resort experience and associated facilities were designed to immerse guests in a journey of personal transformation, with approximately seven thousand square meters dedicated to covering Holistic Health, Fitness, Physiotherapy, Nutrition, Aesthetic Beauty, and Spa. This will be complemented by an extensive conscious cuisine offering across multiple outlets.

SCLA were appointed to undertake a range of scopes associated with the Jayasom Wellness Resort. Our initial scope was to provide a Design Guardianship role as part of DSA’s Lead Consultant team and we were later appointed to deliver the Concept Design services associated with the centrepiece of the project, the Jayasom Spa. The design for the Spa had to satisfy a demanding brief with a diverse range of functions spread over an area of fifty thousand square meters.

The Spa Landscape design was carefully curated to provide immersive and experiential spaces which directly related to the adjacent Spa function. The Spa landscape catered for all ages and included interactive and engaging species for Children, Teens and Adults. The planting scheme for the Spa was integral to defining each character area and medicinal, colour, seasonal and thematic plants were carefully selected by SCLA to realise our vision.
